Sunday Morning Social Tennis
As per previous communications, we no longer have courts allocated for Sunday morning social tennis due to a large drop in participation. Very limited feedback has been received to date, but if sufficient demand is there, we can always reinstate it.
We have, however, received a proposal for starting a Sunday morning league. If this is of interest, please could you let Laurence Levy and/or the Club Office know and we will follow up.
JUNIOR TENNIS
Well done to Reuben Needlestone (pictured above) on winning a Gold medal over the half-term break at the Hackney Downs Mini Red Matchplay competition. A very deserved victory for this young star who has been working hard on his game.
Charity Event - March 27
A reminder that we have our upcoming Charity Tournament on the March 27.
Please book on to what is going to be a great event in supporting the Brain Tumour Charity. The day will consist of a fun social tournament followed by food, with some exhibition tennis.
If you are unable to attend but would still like to donate, please see the link below for more information.

SQUASH UPDATE:
It was another action-packed month of squash, with plenty of exciting competition across both our adult and junior groups!
A huge congratulations to Ricky Shah (pictured above, right), who came out on top in the Handicapped Squash Event.
And well done to our Black Team - featuring Simon, Lee, Rich, and Jamie (above) for winning the Squash Inter-Club Teams competition.
Velocity Academy
We’re also incredibly proud of our Velocity Academy juniors, who delivered an impressive performance against Middlesex’s squad earlier in February. A fantastic effort from all involved. Well done, everyone!
The training sessions are delivered to a very high standard, and our legendary squash player Joe Green recently attended one of them, joining and training with the juniors. These sessions take place on Tuesdays and Thursdays, and you can book via MyCourts. Please coordinate your attendance with the office or with Lee.
